The Testing Center (TC) is a structural subdivision of the Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute LLP, operates on the basis of the Regulations on the TC.
The Testing center was accredited by:
– NCA RK in 2013 according to GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” (Certificate of accreditation no. KZ.И.02.1395 dated 28.06.2013). A combined ILAC MRA and NCA mark was obtained.
– In 2015, the scope of accreditation was expanded by 8 positions (Certificate of accreditation no. KZ.И.02.1395 as amended on 26.06.2015)
– In 2017, the scope of accreditation was expanded by 11 positions (Certificate of accreditation No. KZ.И.02.1395 as amended on 17.03.2017)
– In 2018, the Testing center was re-accredited for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” (Certificate of accreditation no. KZ.T.02.1395 dated 02.10.2018)
– In 2020, in connection with the transition to a new version of the standard, the testing center received a new certificate of accreditation for compliance with the requirements of the ST RK ISO/IEC 17025-2018 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” (Certificate of accreditation No. KZ.T.02.1395 of 12.03.2020), then a new certificate of accreditation for compliance with the requirements GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” (Certificate of accreditation no. KZ.T.02.1395 dated 26.05.2020)
– In 2020, the scope of accreditation was expanded in 2 positions: lumpy skin disease, avian influenza (Certificate of accreditation no. KZ.T.02.1395 as amended on 30.12.2020)
To carry out work with microorganisms of the II – IV pathogenicity groups, the Institute received a positive conclusion of the Department of Public Health Protection of Almaty of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan on compliance of laboratory premises with sanitary rules “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for laboratories using potentially dangerous chemical and biological substances”, approved by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 684 dated 08. 09.2017 to carry out diagnostic, production and experimental work with bacterial pathogens of II- IV groups of pathogenicity, with viral pathogens of II- IV groups of pathogenicity and with material infected or suspected of their presence; permission of the Regime Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct experimental, diagnostic and production work with microorganisms of II, III, IV groups of pathogenicity and helminths.
A state license was obtained (No. 20011977 dated 19.08.2020) for activities related to the turnover of precursors, a license to work with poisons (No. 19023432 dated 04.12.2019), a permit for emissions into the environment (No. 0004435 dated 30.09.2015).
TC structure: Laboratory of Virology, Laboratory of Bacteriology, Laboratory of Parasitology, Laboratory of Brucellosis, Laboratory of Microbial Genetics, Biochemistry and Immunology.
The organizational structure of the Testing Center provides optimal operating conditions with a clear distribution of powers between the responsible executors.
The premises comply with the requirements of the standards.
To carry out work in accordance with the scope of accreditation, the Testing Center is equipped with the latest, technically sound, certified high-precision instruments and equipment.
All employees of the Testing Center have special professional training, technical knowledge and experience necessary to perform the work, according to the scope of accreditation.
The staff of the Testing Center is sufficient in composition, works in accordance with job descriptions and quality system documents.
Employees of the Testing Center are trained in advanced training courses, internships in other accredited testing laboratories, research centers; take part in exhibitions, seminars and conferences.
Trainings are carried out both in Kazakhstan and abroad: in Russia, Georgia, China, Turkey, Belgium, England, Germany, France, Poland, South Korea, Switzerland.
The Testing Center is provided with all the regulatory documentation necessary for carrying out work in accordance with the scope of accreditation, regulating the requirements for tested products and test methods; technical documentation regulating the requirements for equipment and the procedure for its use; organizational and methodological documentation.
